The past year has brought about many changes when it comes to visiting your doctor. Whether you’ve been putting it off or you are coming to us for the first time, Specialty Facial is here to help you get the treatment you need while doing so safely during these unprecedented times. Whether you’re looking for custom prosthetics like an artificial eye, or simply need to discuss the need for future treatment with your eye condition, we are here to help.
Discover below how we are working diligently to follow all of the best practice guidelines set forth by the CDC to keep you and our employees safe at all times.
Part of our effort to keep everyone protected is by following the CDC recommendations for social distancing. Chairs in our waiting room are spaced out properly and we strive to keep a safe distance between each patient and our employees. The guideline states that at least 6-feet of distance should always be maintained. We do our best to continue this guideline when you’re in the office to discuss your need for oral & maxillofacial options or other concerns you have.
Masks are highly recommended and required to come into the office per the CDC regulations. Each of the staff members here wears their masks at all times. Please remember to bring a mask to your ocular appointment and wear it all times while in the office. Masks that have a nose wire and multiple layers are best to help protect you when you’re in the office for aesthetic and reconstructive surgery consultations.
Sanitizing of Tools
While some of our tools used in your appointment may be disposable, in some cases, it’s not possible. We make sure to follow all the recommended guidelines for fully sanitizing tools between each patient before use. We go above and beyond to ensure that you feel protected and comfortable while you’re visiting for your ocularist appointment. We also ensure that our building is properly cleaned and sanitized every day as well.
We Can Come to You!
One service we are proud to provide is that a team of our office can come to your home to perform your fitting for your custom prosthetics. We will discuss with you the types of insurance that cover this type of visit and set you up as soon as possible if it’s available. On this appointment, one of our technicians and an ocularist will arrive at your home to spend the day making sure your new artificial eye is a perfect fit. We want you to have a natural fit and comfort so that you can enjoy your new lease on life.
Another service that we provide is our virtual consultation visits. This provides a wide range of benefits to you, our clients. Those include items such as flexibility in your cosmetic surgery appointment, staying in the safety and comfort of your home, and in some instances, lower costs due to insurance coverage.
